Staff Recruitment
We take great care in the selection and recruitment of our
security staff, and have developed a recruitment process to obtain
the most suitable security officers available to work in our
industry.
The professionalism of Statewide Security and our clients standards
are documented for the Security Officer to follow.
Statewide Security (Aust) have an affiliation with several national
recruitment agencies providing access to additional staff for
urgent placements if required.
Applicants must:

Hold current Level 3 Security Licences including First Ai
- Have trained with reputable training establishments committed
to passing
Only suitable applicants
- Be well presented

Be available to work nights, weekends & Pub Hol.
- Have good people skills for client PR

Have an ability to control situations verbally without
unnecessary use of force

Be able to compile reports in a legible and concise format

Work as part of a team to achieve desired results

Have their own reliable transport and, importantly

Be able to conform to all company policies
Statewide verify that Licences are current and that
candidates have no pending or prior criminal convictions. We do not
employ anyone with any previous criminal convictions.
We require reliability for our clients and any hesitation from
previous employers is a concern to our recruitment staff.
All screened applicants are interviewed and selected on the above
criteria, availability and desire to be part of a successful
business partnership with our clients.
The chosen applicants are then required to attend the Statewide
Security induction and selection course.
This course will be 8 hours duration in a classroom environment and
will determine an applicants disciplines to attendances, how they
interact with others, punctuality and reliability to meet demands,
attitude and attentiveness to standing orders, appearance and
delivery of service standards.
An induction questionnaire will be the final selection tool.
New officers then attend a full employment induction session of
between 2.5 - 3 hours to cover all job requirements and employment
conditions relating to the relevant sites they will be required to
attend.
All new Security Officers are encouraged to continue training,
tailored to meet our clients requirements and become a more valued
employee to the Statewide Security team and our clients.
